Dee Lawless Vocals, Flute, Alto Saxophone Diva Dee Lawless is a lead singer, saxophonist, and flautist, lighting up the stage with a powerful performance style and an incredible voice! She has the resume' to prove it, performing worldwide with her own Denise Rodgers Band and Greg Thompson Production shows. She has wowed audiences in Japan, Thailand, Korea, Guam, Philippines, Greece, Spain, Italy and all over the United States. Dee has warmed up for bands such as Average White Band and was a backup singer for "Paul Rodgers" of Bad Company. Derek DeGroot Tenor Saxophone, Vocals Derek DeGroot is a Saxophonist/Vocalist and joined The Penguins in 2010. He studied under professional saxophone artist, the late Robbie Jordan and also guitarist/vocalist Stephen Grace. Derek has been playing local originals and performing as a special guest with several bands since 2006. He has sat in with local legends such as Lloyd Jones, Danny Hoefer (Tower of Power), Ben Smith (Heart) and Little Bill (The Blue Notes). Derek was also privileged to play with Weezer as a special guest at Key Arena in 2008. Christopher Nickels Lead Guitar, Vocals Christopher Nickels has played as a solo performer, in various duos and trios supporting local original recording artists in their live performances as well as many cover bands throughout the Pacific Northwest. Christopher brings to the band years of stage experience, varied guitar styles and a wide vocal range.   Brian Isaacson Drums After forming the Penguins in 1992, Brian Isaacson is THE original Penguin. His solid foundation is the glue that holds the music together, and keeps the fans on the dance floor.  Mark Lindblom Bass, Vocals Mark Lindblom has played in various classic rock bands with R&B and funk influences. He has been a veteran Penguin returning three or four times to play with his cousin Brian. Obviously talent runs in the family. Mark is a virtuoso bass guitarist and singer with a magnetic stage persona rivaled only by the power in his voice.  Dave Shore Keyboard, Vocals Dave Shore is a multi keyboardist, sequencing artist, and vocalist. A unique, born & raised Seattle Musician, with ties to rock bands, and music of the 70’s & 80’s to today’s variety. His expertise includes national and international entertainment as well as many local bands in the Pacific Northwest. Groups like Tour de’ Force, Bush Patrol, Hip City, Chris Ward and Plan B round out his creative ability to play all genres of music.
